About the artists:

The Chino Latino Jazz Project (CLJP) is dedicated to presenting Latin jazz in the dance styles of salsa, cha-cha-cha, merengue, cumbia, bolero, and rumba/bembe. CLJP personnel includes an international cast of virtuosos from three continents.

Music and Artistic Direction by Peter Shu.

Robert Everest is a multilingual vocalist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist who has been joyfully exploring music from around the world for nearly thirty years. His musical studies have been varied and often impromptu, including jazz guitar in Minneapolis, Brazilian guitar in California, classical guitar in Portugal, African guitar in Togo, Flamenco in Spain, and Tango in Argentina.

This event is supported by, and in support of the Jazz Central Studios Musicians Relief Fund.

Part of the proceeds collected will go to the creation and support of the Twin Cities Black American Musicians Project.
